Tulum-Ruins-Photo-by-Michael-HallTulum Ruins with Swim/Snorkel Stop and Lunch
Departure from Playa del Carmen or any Hotel in the Riviera Maya at 8.00 am.
to get to the Tulum Ruins around 9.00 am.
The archaeological sites in Mexico are open from 8am.-5 or 6 pm. but Tulum is
a little different so They let you in until 4.30 pm that they close.
This is a 45 min. explanation tour with me ( certified guide for Mesoamerican Archeology by the Ministry of Tourism in Mexico), and then the clients have 30 more mins. for taling photos.
There is a beach where clients can swim, but usually after the ruins we take
clients to spend the rest of the morning in a different place , that can
be on a beautiful beach or to the cenotes for swimming and
snorkeling. The last option is stopping on the way back in a beautiful
bay for kayaking and snorkeling and lunch in the famous restaurant.

The things I recommend to bring to the tour : camera to take pictures,
towel, swim suit, water shoes (for cenotes), bugs spray and sunblock
(biodegradable), some snacks or fruit, water or refreshments, a hat or a
cap, and extra cash (for handcrafts, lunch souvenir and tips).

We can carry up to 14 passengers in my van with a/c,
ambient music, cooler for drinks.
We are back at Playa del Carmen between 2 and 4 pm. Dependent on the plan
(beach,cenotes,etc).
You would be responsible for entry fee into ruins (Approx. $4-5 US each), lunch, kayak or snorkel gear rental etc.

$300 USD for Private Tour: pick-up and drop off, driver, archaeological guide.
