The view from Casa Pantera is breathtaking and calming. Looking out over the mouth of Yal-Ku Lagoon as the soothing turquoise water of the lagoon meets the deep blue of the Caribbean. The patios of Pantera are also one of the best places in Akumal to enjoy the full moon.
Casa Pantera which has been recently remodeled and upgraded, offers three large bedrooms in the main villa, each with lagoon view and two additional bedrooms in the pool side guest house.
Windows along the entire lagoon side of the home make this a very bright and open villa. Guests of Pantera enjoy use of a four passenger golf cart provided by the owner. The golf cart is the perfect way to get around Akumal. Trust us, you will be the envy of rental car drivers everywhere.
On the ground level Pantera features a sitting and dining area, fully equipped kitchen and two large bedrooms, each furnished with two queen beds, and two full baths. Each bedroom is air conditioned for your comfort.
Off of the dining area, pass through french doors to the large lower patio area overlooking Yal-Ku Lagoon. This is a great space for outdoor dining or entertaining. Candles and twinkle lights help set the mood after dark while still allowing you to enjoy the Akumal night sky, full of stars. Teak wood lounge chairs are provided for relaxing or reading a book. A hammock is also provided and is great for cat napping.
From the lower patio, Yal-Ku Lagoon is just a few steps down the coral path. Enter waist deep into clear waters of the lagoon where you can float, swim and enjoy some of the finest snorkeling along the coast. While snorkeling in front of Pantera you can expect to see young sea turtles feeding on the soft grasses that grow near the mouth of the lagoon.
On the upper level of Casa Pantera you will find the master bedroom with private study. The view from the master bedroom is spectacular. Highlighting the natural beauty and contrast of blue water against wild green coastline. The master bedroom is private and spacious. Natural light floods the room. For your comfort, choose to open the windows for a refreshing tropical breeze or take a break from a long day of exploring by the cooling the room with air conditioner.
The master bedroom is furnished with king bed and traditional Mexican “Equipal” chairs. Textiles from Guatamala and crafts from central Mexico complete the room creating a bright, fresh and comfortable space. Off of the sleeping area of master bedroom you will also find the master bath, with closets and safe for your use.

Casa Pantera Booking Policies:
Upon clients instruction to confirm reservation payment must be processed within five days in order maintain a legitimate reservation.
Reservations made less than 60 days prior to arrival will require payment in full for final confirmation.
Reservations made more than 60 days prior to arrival will require payment of 50% of total amount due, with balance due 60 days prior to arrival.
All holiday reservations require payment in full to confirm.
Once your payment is processed you will receive an initial confirmation voucher, driving, arrival and check-in instructions via e-mail. A hard copy of your confirmation voucher and other pertinent information including information booklet and information on the area will immediatly follow via US Mail.
