Here it is. . . a true beach getaway located on the white sandy beaches of Solimon, just about half way between Akumal and Tulum. Solimon Bay is big cresent shaped bay dotted private villas and beach cottages. It is quiet and tranquil here. A perfect place to spend your day as active or as relaxed as you choose. Swing in the hammock and nap or read, snorel, kayak or take a long walk. Whatever you choose, you will never have to put on shoes.
Within a short drive are the Mayan ruins of Tulum and Coba. There are cenotes, archeological sites and eco-parks all very close and easily accessible. Akumall and Tulum, both within a 15 minute drive, offer a variety of excellent restaurants and other services.
Casa Playa Maya has two large and private bedrooms located on the main level. Each is air conditioned for your comfort and furnished with king bed. There are two baths on the main level as well. Also on the main level is an open kitchen, living and dining area, all of which open completely so that you can enjoy the view and breezes. From the main living area step out on to the shaded patio. You will never forget the time you spend here. Watching the sea birds, the waves and the parrot fish. It is perfect for morning sunrise and the afternoon activity in the bay. An upper level loft area is furnished with two twin beds that work well separately or together to form a king bed. Casa Playa Maya can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests.
Recent improvements include 10/100 Fast Ethernet Computer LAN, TV with Sky System Satellite TV with universal programming, HBO, Cinemax, Movie Channel, BBC FOX news and All NFL Games. The kitchen is complete with microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, and all utensils needed to prepare your own meals which you can enjoy on the furnished beachside patio and. This is the perfect way to indulge in the serene quiet of the bay.

The Casitas: Also located on the property is the two story structure which houses the “casitas”. Complete studio units on the first and and second levels. Each casita has a small well equipped kitchen area, breakfast bar, private bath and is air conditioned. The casitas are furnished with queen beds, ceiling fans, a small dining table and sitting chairs. These are perfect for large groups. A place where everyone can be together, and at the end of the day, spread out and enjoy their privacy.
The first level casita is perfect for people who may have trouble with stairs. The upper level casita has a large brick domed ceiling. Each has an outdoor area furnished with table and chairs. The casitas enjoy a shady garden view and are just a few steps from the main house and the beach. The casitas are never rented separately from the main house.
General Information: Casa Playa Maya accommodates 6 guests in the main house. If your group is over six, the casitas can be added, for a total of 12. If you have a few extras, two very comfortable Swiss Army inflatable beds are available as well, making total possible occupancy 14. Each casita includes a kitchen area, breakfast bar, small dining table and sitting chair and private bath

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY For this property, Casa Playa Maya in Solimon Bay
RESERVATIONS AND DEPOSIT
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Payment can also be arranged by personal check or money order. Upon clients instruction to confirm reservation payment must be processed within five days in order maintain a legitimate reservations.
Reservations made less than 60 days prior to arrival will require payment in full for final confirmation
Reservations made more than 60 days prior to arrival will require payment of 50% of total amount due, with balance due 60 days prior to arrival.
All holiday reservations require payment in full to confirm.
Once your payment is processed you will receive confirmation voucher, driving, arrival and check-in instructions via e-mail.
CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellations are effective on the date written notice is received by fax or e-mail in our office. If a refund is applicable, refund payment will be processed within two weeks of cancellation notice and will be in the form of US Check or refund to credit card account.
The following assessments will apply to cancellations: A fee of 5% will be applied to all canceled reservations to cover any incurred credit card or payment processing fees.
Cancellation prior to 60 days from arrival date will result in the forfeit of deposit (one-half of Total Rent).
Cancellation less than 60 days prior to arrival date will result in the forfeit of 75% of the Total Rent
Cancellation less than 30 days prior to arrival date will result in the forfeit of 100% of Total Rent
Cancellation for any holiday reservation (Christmas, New Year’s, Easter, and Thanksgiving weeks) will result in the forfeit of 100% of Total Rent.
Some property owners will authorize rescheduling or credit towards a future stay. This strictly depends on the individual property owner and can not be guaranteed without authorization from said owner.
SECURITY DEPOSITS Some properties require security deposits. Please check property’s individual webpage to see if a security deposit applies. Security deposits will be collected upon your arrival by the property manager. Please provide deposit in cash or traveler’s cheques.
FOR YOUR PROTECTION: We highly recommend that you purchase Travel Insurance when traveling internationally.
