Each of Hotel Lunata’s ten spacious rooms was designed to please the eye and comfort the soul. The design recalls the traditional charm of Mexico’s haciendas, yet offers total modern day comforts.
The attention to detail is found throughout. In the unique hand crafted 
hardwood and metal worked furniture, authentic paintings and handicrafts, bricked dome ceilings, hardwood beams, natural limestone, and hand painted talavera tiles. Even the bedroom floors are covered with beautiful tiles accented by hand selected, polished and expertly laid stones.
Every room is named after a different moon (luna) in our solar system and has a private balcony with a view of the ocean, garden or 5th Avenue. Hotel Lunata’s accommodations include all the amenities you expect, but rarely find in Playa del Carmen. For your year round comfort, the hotel is centrally air conditioned. Televisions are available in the rooms.

A Junior Suite is one very large room with 2 double beds, dining area with refrigerator. Beautiful colonial decor and huge terrace with incredible garden and sunset views. These rooms are excellent for families or friends traveling together.

Standard Queen
With a beautiful entry and located on its private floor, Standard Queen rooms offer style and privacy. These rooms feature a queen size bed and balconies with views of the Caribbean or 5th avenue (excellent for people watching). The private bathrooms are adorned with hand painted talavera tiles and incredible mahogany wood basins. The shower floors are covered with river stones that provide excellent orthopedic massage.

Deluxe King
Everything you would expect and more. Deluxe King rooms have king size beds and dining areas with refrigerators. These rooms are professionally decorated by Mexico’s finest craftsmen and are filled with incredible details: hardwood beams, slanted colonial tile ceilings, and niches adorned with Mexican hand painted talavera tiles. Each Deluxe King room offers a terrace or a balcony with views of our courtyard garden (a quiet choice) or 5th avenue (for a lively choice). All rooms are centrally air-conditioned and have cable televisions. These rooms offer 5 Star luxury at an affordable price.
