Riviera del Sol Hotel is located on the quiet section of Playa del Carmen’s famous “main-street”, 5th avenue (Quinta Avenida), the shopping street and only 2 minutes walk from Playa del Carmen´s beautiful white beaches. Enjoy a stay in beautiful rooms with a private balcony facing the pool area, here with a sparkling waterfall who flows down into the 7 foot deep (1.5 meters) pool, surrounded by lounge chairs and tropical plants. A large beautiful cupola roof covers the hotel common area. Here you can enjoy the lounge area and library.
The Riviera del Sol Hotel is owned and run by a family living in Playa del Carmen. The owners are on the premises daily and add their personal touch while managing the hotel. Families are welcome at the Riviera del Sol Hotel.
Riviera del Sol Hotel has 23 spacious rooms, all tastefully furnished in a tropical Mexican style.
Those in the first floor face the pool area. From some of the rooms in the second and third floor, beautiful views of the ocean can be enjoyed.
All the guest rooms are open and sunny, each with a private balcony. The balconies on the third floor are shaded by palm thatched palapas.
Ten rooms have one King Size bed, and thirteen rooms have two Queen Size beds. Some rooms have kitchenette and can also be connected with an additional room. Our offer then differentiates four types of rooms:
- Standard Queen.- Two Queen Size beds, Balcony.
- Standard King.- One King Size bed, Balcony.
- Deluxe.- Two Queen Size beds, Kitchenette and Balcony.
- Suite.- One King Size bed, Kitchenette, Terrace, with ocean view.
