Tankha
Tankha is situated about 8 kilometers north of Tulum. It is an exit you might very easily miss, so keep your eyes open along the highway going South toward Tulum. There are a couple hotels and private villas along its short beach road that extends to Soliman Bay. It is a quiet place where you can find some peace and quiet for sure. One of the best things about this exit is a beautiful Cenote that connects closely to the sea. it is called Casa Cenote. Beautiful snorkeling in the sea where the cenote opens up as well as the fresh water cenote across the beach road. There are a few restaurants along the road but it is sure to close down early. A great place to stop and an amazing place to stay is Blue Sky Casitas just a stones throw from Casa Cenote.
