Dr. Bernardo Diaz was trained at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and has been actively working as a General Practicioner in Playa del Carmen and the Riviera Maya since 2004. He has completed several courses such as ACLS and various seminars and congresses over the past 6 years. He speaks fluent Spanish and English, he also speaks quite a bit of Italian and basic French. He sees many locals and tourists alike and is very familiar with travel related illnesses. He has an office in downtown Playa del Carmen on Calle 20 between 1st and 5th which is open Monday through Saturday. He also gives house calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week anywhere from Puerto Morelos to Tulum and in between. Dr. Bernardo works closely with a local clinic where he can refer his patients to specialists or for emergency care as well as with local chemists who offer blood analysis where the samples can be taken right in your condo or hotel.
